American Friends of Yad Eliezer now partners with B'ezri
This Pesach, IDF soldiers are doing their best to make Yom Tov just like everyone else. Some have been in and out of Miluim for months. Others are in active service. Some will be home for Yom Tov. Many will not. But despite the differences in schedules, one thing is certain: for needy soldiers who are receiving help for Pesach expenses, AFYE/B'ezri's support through our Pesach campaign is making a huge difference for them and their families, and they've written in, to let us-and you-know how impactful this support is:
"I received the message about the vouchers for Rami Levy—and my wife and I are in shock!
We’ve received help during this war, but this… this is truly the warmest, most heartfelt gesture we’ve gotten. I don’t even know what to say. I have no words, no way to thank you properly.
Just knowing someone thought of us—it moves me deeply.
So from both me and my wife, thank you so, so much for thinking of us and for everything you’re doing.
Wishing you a kosher and joyful Pesach. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts."
"You probably hear this a lot, but thank you.
Thank you for helping my soldiers—because of you, they’ll be able to sit with their families this Pesach like free men.
It touches me deeply to see people giving just because they want to help, with no expectation of anything in return.
Wishing you a happy holiday—and may we see the complete Geula very soon."
"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude on behalf of all the reservist soldiers who received significant financial assistance from you in the form of holiday vouchers for Pesach. Your support not only eased a difficult financial burden—it sent a powerful message of care, appreciation, and respect for our service.
In a time when so many of us are carrying the weight of national defense while also trying to care for our families, your gesture offered warmth, solidarity, and true partnership.
What you’ve done reminds us that the Israeli spirit is alive and strong—and that we’re not alone.
We’re grateful beyond words, and we wish you continued strength and success in all that you do.
Chag Pesach Kasher v’Sameach."
These three letters are just a sample of the many we are receiving. With aid going out to 3,550 struggling soldiers (and families!) from diverse backgrounds and myriad circumstances, we know that for Pesach at least, their needs are being taken care of. It's thanks to support from our donors that we are able to accomplish such a critical mission.
There's still time to help soldiers and other families in need this Pesach. Please join us!
