Keep poor families in Israel warm - Donate to our Winter-Warmth Campaign

The winter has arrived in full force and the weather has turned cold and rainy, but thousands of poor children will stay warm and cozy with stylish winter coats.
A winter coat is a crucial item to have. When winter comes full force, proper outerwear can make the difference between a healthy winter, and a winter filled with colds and sniffles. Coats are worn every day of the season, and a child who doesn't have a nice coat will be embarrassed in front of his peers. Not only can her health be compromised, but also her self confidence and social standing.

Yad Eliezer is committed to keeping children warm- dispite their parent's financial adversity.

Thank you letters received after our coat distibutions in previous years have confirmed the sad reality. Many children wear their coats all day long- and all night long. In inclement weather the cost of heating is prohibitive, in some instances a warm coat can actually be life saving- preventing complications from the flu or pnemonia.
