A Generous Donation to Transform Yom Tov

One family's initiative makes a difference in 50 homes!

Making Yom Tov this year is proving harder than ever for countless families.  Putting food on the table during the week is challenging enough due to soaring prices, but the costs of Yom Tov, with multiple consecutive meals for multiple people (in addition to all the other holiday expenses) are prohibitive for families who are struggling.

The family of R' Moshe Yitzchak recognizes the urgent need that households are facing and has decided to take action. Through the Keren Moshe Yitzchok L'Talmidei Chachamim, they have generously donated $20,000 to alleviate the holiday strain in 50 homes li'ilui nishmat R' Moshe Yizchak. The recipient families, who live in Kiryat Sefer, are each receiving 1500 NIS in supermarket gift cards they can use at major chains to purchase their necessities for the chagim. With the support comes relief and the ability to choose the products their families enjoy so the atmosphere at home will genuinely feel like Yom Tov.
