It's Back to School

With backpacks for hundreds of children

Over 200 children of miluim (reserve) families are thrilled to go back to school with new backpacks full of school supplies, thanks to American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri. The children come from homes where fathers have been away on the battlefront, and families have been struggling to retain a level of stability since the start of the war. Fathers' absence, reduced incomes and other challenges in miluim homes have placed significant strain on parents and children alike. This type of support (along with other forms of aid for varied necessities through our Stand With Israel campaign), is exactly what is needed as the new school year begins: one less worry for mothers who are holding down the fort alone. We are always thinking of ways to make families' lives better, and your support makes it happen.
