Generous support for our Stand With Israel campaign

American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B’ezri thanks Daily Giving, who recently made a generous donation to our Stand With Israel Campaign. Initiated at the outset of the war, this program has been providing critical supplies to tens of thousands of people including IDF soldiers, displaced families from Israel’s south now living in hotels, struggling single mothers and families in southern cities (Ashkelon, Tifrach, Sderot, Ofakim and others), families of called-up reserve soldiers and many others affected by the situation.

Daily Giving’s donation has boosted the campaign so we can widen our reach, increasing critical aid that includes (but is in no way limited to):
-numerous types of vital army gear for the soldiers
-food, clothing and financial support for hundreds of uprooted families 
-thousands of quality games, toys and books for children in displaced families & those in the south (many still without access to education or regular routines)
-therapy support for hundreds of parents and children 
-hundreds of packages of diapers, wipes and other baby supplies
plus myriad other necessities as requests come in, on an ongoing basis. 

Funds are also being used towards our Winter Warmth Campaign, our annual program that provides new coats and blankets to thousands of families in need throughout Israel. Demand for these items is higher than ever due to the upheaval in families’ lives caused by the war. Displaced "hotel families" have few belongings in their temporary locations and poor families in the south don't have funds to purchase good coats or blankets.

American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B’ezri has been there since the start of this unimaginable crisis, and will continue to provide aid and alleviate stress for families for the long term. It is thanks to our many generous donors such as Daily Giving, that we are able to serve as a dependable and effective source of vital relief for so many families in need.
