American Friends of Yad Eliezer now partners with B'ezri
Once again, Yom Kippur was made especially meaningful thanks to the incredible generosity of the Gibber family.
As has been the custom for years, the Gibbers hosted an awe-inspiring, moving minyan over Yom Kippur, with all proceeds benefiting American Friends of Yad Eliezer|B'ezri, to help needy families for the Yomim Tovim. The family took care of every necessity for the minyan from A-Z. With meticulous attention to detail including supplying and arranging Yartzeit candles, machzorim and food for the break-fast for all participants, they also provided a beautiful men's choir and made down-to-the-wire arrangements to change venues at the last minute. The family supplied anything and everything necessary in between, ensuring that each of the 175 minyan attendees was taken care of and that every davening ran seamlessly.
The Gibbers covered all expenses of the Yom Kippur minyan, donating every penny raised (for seats, aliyahs, etc.), totalling $150,000, to AFYE|B'ezri's High Holiday Campaign, significantly contributing to the astounding 3.5 million dollars that is being distributed to Israel's neediest families for Yom Tov.
Almanos, IDF soldiers-in-need, grushos, agunos and struggling families of all types are breathing a sigh of relief as they can provide for their families' holiday costs, thanks to this crucial initiative.
American Friends of Yad Eliezer|B'ezri is extremely grateful to the Gibber family for this considerable undertaking. When expressing our sincere thanks for their efforts and generosity, they simply commented, "This is what we're here for."
