American Friends of Yad Eliezer now partners with B'ezri
American Friends of Yad Eliezer | B’ezri understands that one of the best ways to help people climb out of the poverty cycle and ideally, avoid it completely, is through education which leads to gainful employment. With that in mind, our Zichron Yehuda Leib Job Training program works to ensure that promising students who are on track to complete a certified training course or degree program aren’t prevented from graduating due to lack of funds. With our assistance, qualifying recipients are able to complete their programs so they become certified in their field and can find good jobs that will enable them to support their families well.
This year, in addition to the funding we are providing for individual students in various sectors, our Job Training program is also investing in the computer science programs at two different seminars, enabling them to expand their student enrollment. The funding will open slots for an additional 125 young women split between the two schools, plus create 4 computer labs for the students’ use. This incredible initiative gives these women the opportunity to learn valuable skills that will enable them, after just two years’ study time, to work for some of the largest hi-tech companies such as Google and Intel, and in other areas of the hi-tech industry.
As one of the top Israeli charities, we are always thinking ahead, and this is yet another way in which American Friends of Yad Eliezer | B’ezri works to pave the way towards brighter futures for Israel’s needy.
