Chanukah Toy Distribution 2013 - Yad Eliezer
Thursday, December 12, 2013For many children Chanukah is synonmous with gifts, toys and games. For poor children in Israel that is not their reality- many of them are overjoyed if there are enough candles to light and a warm meal to eat. Miriam Grunhaus decided to change that, and provided new toys and games for poor children in impoverished communities in Israel. For many of these children this was the very first time that they ever recieved a new toy of their own. Now that snow is falling and school has been cancelled, hundreds of children at home enjoying their new toys and games. Many thanks to Miriam's daughter, Yael Grunhaus for her role in distributing the gifts.
