Food Vouchers and Shoes for Rosh HaShana - Yad Eliezer

Divorced mothers and agunot received envelopes with vouchers to purchase food and necessities at the local supermarket in preparation for Rosh HaShana. From communities in the Negev to Tzfat in the north, women are making their ways to the stores, finally able to purchase all of the items on their lists without having to count every shekel and leave the store with only half of what they really need. Vouchers to buy shoes are also being distributed to the neediest families. Yad Eliezer offers heartfelt thanks to the generous donor who made this possible.
