The greatest gifts in life are not meant to be kept to ourselves, but rather are meant to be shared with others. On our wedding day we felt that the greatest way to share our joy and happiness was to enable another couple to experience the same joy of having a beautiful wedding. The Rabbis tell us that hachnasas kallah, helping to make a wedding, is a kindness whose reward is felt both in this world and in the world to come, and we are fortunate to have been able to fulfil this mitzvah, through Yad Eliezer.
